Richard is an Associate Partner and co-Healthcare lead with over 20 years of IT and project management experience in the public and private sector.
As a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Richard has been the Project Manager for major public-sector transformation projects. These include corporate strategy development and planning, shared services design, online service implementations, governance and policy design and implementation, digital transformations, and assessments and implementations of new models of healthcare.
Richard has experience developing and leading innovative customer-centric transformations including enterprise system implementations, enhancing performance measurement, policy and governance development, organizational change management, project management optimization, data analytics, and digital government enablement. Skilled in designing and leading workshops both to gather requirements and to lead large-scale strategy development, Richard has designed and facilitated workshops for multiple Nova Scotia government departments, other provincial and municipal governments, not-for-profit organizations, and private industry.
Richard has a Master of Health Informatics from Dalhousie University and is an expert in communicating with all levels of an organization in their language, from end-users to detailed technology subject matter experts to C-suite executives.
