Linda Bolton is an Associate Partner with Barrington Consulting and leads Barrington’s Privacy service line.
She has contributed to over 100 Privacy Impact Assessments for provincial governments, municipal entities, and private sector clients, and she has established, operated, and reviewed organizations’ privacy offices, and provides privacy training and awareness activities and develops privacy policies and procedures. Linda has provided valuable policy expertise on multi-year projects. She navigates the intricacies of the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information using a collaborative approach and strong relationships with subject matter experts and the Office of the Information and Privacy Officer.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton University and a Master of Arts, English from the University of Victoria. She is a Fellow of Information Privacy, Certified Information Privacy Manager, and Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Canada through the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She is also a Certified Change Manager through PROSCI®, holds her Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and is a Certified Associate of Project Management through the Project Management Institute.
