The New Brunswick Liquor Corporation embarked on an initiative to perform an assessment of its Information Technology (IT) assets, capabilities and services to determine how to improve support to the organization in the achievement of its strategic goals and objectives. Based on the findings identified during this assessment, the corporation defined and initiated strategic projects accordingly.
Barrington Consulting executed the following activities:
- Conducted an IT Gap Analysis to identify gaps limiting the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation’s ability to fully meet its strategic goals and objectives.
- Developed an IT Strategic Blueprint and Roadmap to identify, detail and schedule strategic initiatives required to address the gaps.
- Provided Program and Project Management services to support the detailed planning and execution of key strategic initiatives including the implementation of ERP software.
Barrington Consulting supported NB Liquor through roles it played in the project planning, execution and management of its key strategic initiative, and the expansion of its ERP solution. By successfully delivering the IT Gap Analysis and IT Strategic Blueprint and Roadmap, Barrington was able to assist NB Liquor in identifying and prioritizing the required strategic initiatives that would better position ANBL to be able to achieve its mandate, goals and objectives.
